Quaker Cottage is a
very old, grade II listed, compact cottage, suitable for 2 people, in an
excellent central position close to the Swing Bridge on the old (Abbey) side of Whitby. From your
door you are amongst the pubs, shops and eateries of central Whitby. On the ground floor is a lock up shop unit. The door to the cottage is off the little side alley. From your front door there is a flight of tiled stairs to the lounge/diner with tv and a feature electric stove. The lounge has a sofa bed for occasional use. Next to the lounge is the well equipped galley kitchen with conventional cooker, microwave cooker and integrated fridge. A second staircase leads to a pretty bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. Next to the bathroom is the double bedroom with plenty of storage space. The double bed is made up for you. There is no extra charge to use the sofa bed but please bring your own bedding for it. The windows are double glazed to keep the cottage quiet and warm. Downstairs there is a washer/dryer. There
is no yard or outside space. You are welcome to bring one well behaved
dog free of charge but you must be prepared to clean up in and outside. |
